We have arranged for extensive residency activities as well as daylong, individual workshops and performances in public schools and other educational settings. Some of our adult workshops are eligible to receive Act 48 credits for PA teachers.
Teachers and school administrators interested in bringing art activities and residencies to their school should contact the HCAC director.
Huntingdon County Students are invited annually to participate in Spring Thaw. Open to grades K – 12, Spring Thaw is an opportunity for students to exhibit two and three dimensional art work, as well as prose and poetry. Prize packages will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners selected by professional artists or art experts annually.

The general community is welcome to workshops at our facility or other designated location. Folk College and The Greenwood Furnace Folk Gathering provide opportunities to participate in music and dance classes. Please check the calendar for additional workshops.
