A graduate from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, I have always had an interest in fashion, especially jewelry. Working intuitively, I combine various purchased elements, such as glass beads, crystals, fresh water pearls, leather, copper wire and other materials, into worven and wrapped treasures, often allowing the base piece to dictate the flow of each design. I am drawn to unusual stones, and enjoy the challenge of including these in my sometimes abstract compositions. I also prefer to use semiprecious stones in a more natural state to produce a more organic aesthetic appearance to my art.
