The Spring Thaw is an annual Youth Art and Writing Exhibit held at a
designated public school in Huntingdon County. The show is judged by art professional from the region, and prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category. For more information on Spring Thaw, including the rules and regulations form, visit the Spring Thaw page. |

Folk College is an event organized by the Huntingdon County Arts Council and the folk band Simple Gifts. The event takes place over a weekend each May at Juniata College in Huntingdon County. It comprises workshops led by recognized musicians, jam sessions, concerts, and group playing. Hauntingdon describes the series of events at the end of October in Huntingdon borough organized by Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Bureau.
